Alan started working for Envu 26 years ago as a sales administrator. Today he is responsible for all commercial activities in Northern Europe. He says his biggest achievement is gaining the role of managing director. For Alan, it’s all about the people – the customers and his colleagues.

Worked as a management trainee at Argos and in the job centre for several years.

How long have you worked at Envu? (and what roles have you had, if you've had more than one role).

26 years in May working for Envu. Worked as sales admin, European product manager, European migration manager, marketing and development manager North Europe, head of sales for professional pest control, head of sales for professional products (turf/amenity and PPC), country head UK/IE, head of North Europe (2 years), head of North Europe and managing director (UK).

Tell us a bit about your current role and what you do at Envu.

I am responsible for all commercial activities in Northern Europe (UK, IE, Nordics and Baltics) while dualling this role with my MD responsibilities.

What is your biggest achievement since working at Envu?

Becoming managing director

What is your favourite thing about your role and working at Envu?

People – both our customers and the internal Envu team.

Coat hangers
