Fiata Stressgard®: Now Available in 10L Packs, Backed by New STRI Trial Results

A recent independent trial conducted at the Sports Turf Research Institute (STRI) has further reinforced the benefits of Fiata Stressgard. The study demonstrated that Fiata Stressgard significantly improved turf resilience, colour and quality, enabling it to survive and perform over a six-week drought period. The trial also highlighted the ability of Fiata Stressgard to boost photosynthesis, outperforming both untreated plots and those treated with pigment alone.

Additionally, the research confirmed that combining Fiata Stressgard with a growth regulator (trinexapac-ethyl) mitigates potential negative quality effects often associated with standalone trinexapac-ethyl applications. The combination further enhanced chlorophyll levels in both drought-stressed and healthy turf conditions, providing an extra level of support to turfgrass under varying environmental pressures.

Importantly, the trial results indicated that during drought conditions, Fiata Stressgard was a better option than continuing with a surfactant programme. While surfactants remain essential before and after drought, using Fiata Stressgard, before and during drought helped turf maintain quality and performance while also promoting faster and healthier recovery post-drought.

Since its launch, Fiata Stressgard has received outstanding feedback from turf managers across the UK, with many reporting improved turf quality, enhanced colour, and better stress resilience.
