Flowers on stalks with four heart shaped petals, ranging from bright pink-purple to light pink, seen between June and August. Long and narrow pods, splitting when ripe to reveal a silky plume of hairs attached to each seed. 

Leaves:
Lanceolate leaves with a toothed edge.
